This recipe is easy to make and is a great way to incorporate more veggies and lean protein into your diet
|1 Pkg||bowtie pasta|
|4||Schneiders Sundried Tomato Smoked Chicken Sausages|
|3/4 cup||sundried tomato pesto|
|2 tbsp||cream cheese|
|1 tbsp||olive oil|
|1/4 cup||thinly sliced smoked gouda cheese|
Prepare pasta as per package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, slice bell peppers and sausages to approximately 1/4" thick.
In a frying pan, heat oil on medium high. Add sliced bell peppers and sausage, and cook until peppers are soft (about 5minutes). Add cream cheese and sundried tomato pesto. Reduce heat to medium low. Toss until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbling slightly.
Serve over pasta.
Top with sliced smoked gouda cheese.
I like to use three different colour peppers to make the dish visually appealing.
