This sandwich with any type of sausage goes well with the sauerkraut and melted cheese smothering it.


1 English muffin
1/2 Italian sausage, cooked and sliced
1 thick mozzarella cheese slice
2 tbsp sauerkraut, drained
1 tbsp mustard


1. Spread mustard on bottom half of muffin. Spoon sauerkraut on top of mustard.
2. Pierce skin with fork all over sausage. Cook sausage covered with a lid in microwave for about a minute or until cooked.
3. Slice sausage. Place 1/2 of sausage on top of sauerkraut. Place cheese on other half of muffin. Broil both halves in oven for 2 minutes or until cheese has melted. Enjoy!
