|1||Package (4 pieces) Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Chicken Thighs|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Vegetable oil|
|1/4 lb||(115 g) Sliced mushrooms|
|2||Green peppers, diced|
|1||Clove garlic, minced|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) White wine|
|1||Package ready prepared Béchamel sauce mix|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Table cream (18%)|
|Salt and pepper|
HEAT oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside. Add onion and sauté until soft and fragrant. Add the remaining vegetables and cook for 5-6 minutes or until tender.
MIX white wine with Béchamel sauce mix. Stir into the vegetable mixture. Continue to stir until thickened. Add the chicken back into the pan. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 185°F (85°C). Add cream and season with salt and pepper.
Serve over rice with a side dish of your favourite vegetables.
