About this Recipe

This recipe for chicken is so easy! The shallots and fennel give it that extra touch of great flavour.


1 Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Whole Chicken, cut into 8 pieces
8 Shallots, halved
2 Bulbs fennel, quartered
4 tbsp (60 mL) Olive oil
Salt and pepper


PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C).

ARRANGE pieces of chicken of a parchment paper lined baking sheet along with shallots and fennel. Drizzle everything with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

BAKE for 40 minutes or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 185°F (85°C).
