Salad Bar Salad with Honey Dijon Dressing

About this Recipe

This salad is inspired by a visit to the salad bar at a buffet restaurant. The vegetables can be mixed and matched to suit you individual taste.

Ingredients

HONEY DIJON DRESSING:
1 tbsp (15 mL) Mayonnaise
1 tbsp (15 mL) Dijon mustard
1 tbsp (15 mL) Honey
2 tbsp (30 mL) White balsamic vinegar
.25 cup (60 mL) Olive oil
Salt and pepper
SALAD:
8 cups (2 L) Mixed salad greens
2 Carrots, cut into matchsticks
2 cups (500 mL) Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Oven Roasted Chicken or Turkey Breast Slices
1.5 cups (375 mL) Frozen corn, thawed, drained
3 Hard boiled eggs, sliced
.5 cup (125 mL) Green olives
1 cup (250 mL) Grated white Cheddar cheese

Directions

WHISK together all ingredients for salad dressing until combined.

ASSEMBLE all ingredients for salad in a large serving bowl. Drizzle with dressing and serve.
