About this Recipe

While I love pulled pork and that is how I usually make use of a pork shoulder, when you have a hankering for that super crispy pork skin, it is just too hard to pass up!

1 Pork Shoulder
1 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Dried Rosemary
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper

Mover the Shoulder from any packaging or wrapping and pat dry with paper towel.

Using a sharp knife score the skin in a criss-cross pattern.

Combine all the dry ingredients.

Place the shoulder in a heavy roasting pan skin side up.

Rub all of the spice mixture onto the skin.

Place in a 325 F oven for approximately 4 hours until you get an internal temperature of 185 F.

Remove from the oven and let rest for 30 minutes,

Carve and Enjoy! Be sure to enjoy the crispy, salty delicious skin!
