Simple and healthy to make for Valentine or anytime.


1 chicken
6 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 bunch asparagus
2 cups broccoli florets


Sprinkle salt all over chicken, and spread butter all over the skin and cavity of chicken. Place in a roasting pan, and bake at 350 degree F. oven for 45 - 55 minutes or until done and the leg is no longer pink. To crisp the skin, broil for 3 -5 minutes until skin is golden brown.
Serve with cooked asparagus and broccoli.
