Enjoy the classic flavour of broccoli and melted cheddar between two slices of golden brown Dempster's Gluten Zero™ white bread.
|1 cup||(250 mL) Broccoli florets|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Olive oil|
|Salt and pepper|
|3/4 cup||(175 mL) Grated White Cheddar cheese|
|8||Slices Bon Matin Gluten Zero™ White Bread|
|6 tbsp||(90 mL) Softened butter|
PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C).
CUT broccoli florets into very small pieces, about ½” (1 cm). Toss with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
MIX cheese and cooled broccoli florets. Divide between four sandwiches. Spread the outside of the sandwiches with butter.
HEAT a large non-stick skillet over medium. Grill sandwiches for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
