Ricotta and sweet pear go together surprisingly well together in this grilled sandwich.
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) Ricotta|
|1||Pear, thinly sliced|
|4||Slices Dempster’s® Stays Fresh® White Bread|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Melted butter|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Honey|
PREHEAT panini press to 375°F (190°C).
DIVIDE ricotta cheese evenly between four slices of bread. Top two slices with pear and cover with remaining 2 ricotta topped bread slices.
BRUSH melted butter over the outside of each sandwich.
Place sandwiches into Panini press. Heat until cheese is melted and outside is golden brown, about 5-6 minutes. Cut in half and serve drizzled with honey.
If you don’t have a Panini press, make sandwiches in frying pan same as a grilled cheese sandwich.
