All the familiar flavours of a reuben sandwich recreated in this delicious artisan style hot dog.
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf Canadian CraftTM Montreal Style Smoked Meat Wieners|
|5||hot dog buns, split|
|1 cup||(250mL) red sauerkraut|
|10||slices swiss cheese|
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Place hot dogs into pot and reduce to a simmer.
Cook hot dogs for 4 to 5 minutes or until an internal temperature of 165 is reached.
Remove from water onto paper towel lined plate. Heat oven on broil setting.
Place buns split onto a baking sheet and toast buns for about 1 minute. Assemble hot dogs by placing two slices each swiss cheese onto hot dog bun followed by sauerkraut.
Top with hot dog and drizzle with dressing. Serve immediately.
Alternatively BBQ hot dogs and buns. Serve with your favourite Canadian craft beer.
