|3 tbsp||(45 mL) butter melted|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) packed brown sugar|
|1 1/2 tbsp||(22 mL) honey|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) chopped pecans|
|Orange Glaze (Optional)|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) powdered sugar|
|1 to 2||teaspoons (5 to 10 mL) orange juice|
HEAT oven to 425 F (220 C).
PLACE raisin bread on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
COMBINE butter, brown sugar, honey and pecans.
DIVIDE nut mixture evenly between bread slices.
BAKE 5 to 6 minutes until top is bubbly and edges toasted. Cool on a wire rack 5 minutes.
STIR together powdered sugar and orange juice until smooth. Drizzle over toast.
SERVE slices whole or cut into triangles, squares, or fingers for snacks.
