Mounds of creamy tangy coleslaw partner with the delicious flavour of this uniquely flavoured hot dog!
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf Canadian CraftTM Montreal Style Smoked Meat Wieners|
|5||hot dog buns, split|
|1 397 g||pkg colorful coleslaw|
|1 1/4 cup||mayonnaise|
|1/2 cup||red onion, thinly sliced|
In a large bowl combine coleslaw, mayonnaise, mustard and onion.
Stir well to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
Set aside. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Place hot dogs into pot and reduce heat to simmer.
Cook hot dogs for 4 to 5 minutes or until and internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.
Remove onto paper towel lined plate.
Assemble hot dogs by dividing coleslaw between hot dog buns followed by hot dogs. Serve immediately.
Alternatively BBQ hot dogs and buns. Serve with salted kettle chips.
