It's a fast & easy solution for school lunches. I was looking for a recipe that the kids were familiar with and that had very little prep and cooking time. So preparing a pizza on an english muffin seemed the appropriate solution since it is very easy to pack away in a lunch bag.
1 | English Muffins (or bagels) |
as | needed Spaghetti sauce or Butter |
4-5 | slices Maple Leaf Pepperoni |
1-2 | slices Maple Leaf Salami |
as | needed Grated/Shredded Cheese |
Assemble your ingredients together on the counter and place a plate in front of them.
Split your English Muffin and place the halves onto your plate.
Then spread spaghetti sauce or butter on top of the english muffin halves.
Like a pizza you're going to layer on salami and/or pepperoni on top of the halves.
Lastly, spread your grated or shredded cheese on top.
Transfer your creations to a cookie sheet or toaster oven tray and bake them for about 5 minutes at 350 degrees or on Medium Heat.
When the cheese has started to melt is when you know they are ready to be served.
