1 Tenderflake® Frozen Deep Dish Pie Shell, defrosted
8 Schneiders® Bacon Slices, roughly chopped
4 oz Grated Swiss cheese
4 Eggs
1 cup (250 mL) Milk
1/2 cup (125 mL) Light cream (10%)
1/2 tsp (2 mL) Salt
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
2 tsp (10 mL) Chopped fresh chives


PREHEAT oven to 400°F (200°C).

SPRINKLE the chopped bacon in the bottom of the unbaked pie shell. Top with grated cheese.

WHISK together all of the remaining ingredients and pour into the pie shell. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden and the filling is set.


Substitute chopped cooked Maple Leaf® Bacon.
