The perfect midnight snack. Sweet and salty pulled pork layered with crispy bacon, melted cheese and a perfectly fried egg on a soft bun.


2 cups (500 mL) Ready prepared pulled pork
1 cup (250 mL) Barbeque Sauce
1 tbsp (15 mL) butter
4 Eggs
Salt and pepper
4 Dempster’s® Original Hamburger Buns, split
4 Cheese slices
6 Slices Maple Leaf® Bacon, cooked
2 tbsp (30 mL) Melted butter


HEAT pork in a skillet over medium heat. Gently break it apart and add barbeque sauce. Reduce heat to low and keep warm.

HEAT butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Gently break eggs into the pan, season with salt and pepper. Fry eggs, covered, until whites have set or turn for over easy.

BRUSH buns with melted butter and toast in a large fry pan over medium-high heat.

ASSEMBLE sandwiches by dividing pork equally between bottom halves of buns. Top with cheese slice, 2 slices bacon, fried egg and bun tops. Serve immediately.
