Sit down to a powerhouse of goodness with this fresh salad!


1 Pkg 300gr Maple Leaf Prime® Naturallly Turkey Sausage
1 cup (250 mL) feta cheese, crumbled
1 Pkg 6 oz (175 g) blueberries
1 cup (250 mL) whole walnuts
1/2 cup (125 mL) white beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup (250 mL) sprouts
5 cups (1250 mL) kale, trimmed, washed and chopped
1/2 cup (125 mL) balsamic salad dressing


PREHEAT grill to medium high heat.

COOK sausages 4 to 5 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.

SET aside and keep warm.

PLACE kale in a large bowl and toss with salad dressing.

SPRINKLE cheese, blueberries, walnuts, beans and red onion over top.

GARNISH with sprouts.

SLICE each sausage into 6 rounds on the bias and serve alongside salad.

DRIZZLE with extra dressing is desired.


Try serving with gluten free grilled toasted points drizzled with olive oil.
