Sit down to a powerhouse of goodness with this fresh salad!
|1 Pkg||300gr Maple Leaf Prime® Naturallly Turkey Sausage|
|1 cup||(250 mL) feta cheese, crumbled|
|1 Pkg||6 oz (175 g) blueberries|
|1 cup||(250 mL) whole walnuts|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) white beans, rinsed and drained|
|1/2||small red onion, thinly sliced|
|1 cup||(250 mL) sprouts|
|5 cups||(1250 mL) kale, trimmed, washed and chopped|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) balsamic salad dressing|
PREHEAT grill to medium high heat.
COOK sausages 4 to 5 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.
SET aside and keep warm.
PLACE kale in a large bowl and toss with salad dressing.
SPRINKLE cheese, blueberries, walnuts, beans and red onion over top.
GARNISH with sprouts.
SLICE each sausage into 6 rounds on the bias and serve alongside salad.
DRIZZLE with extra dressing is desired.
