|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Vegetable oil, divided|
|2||Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Portions Stir Fry Portions|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Chinese 5 Spice|
|Salt and pepper|
|4 cups||(1 L) Assorted fresh stir-fry vegetable|
¼ cup (60 mL) Soy sauce
2 tbsp (30 mL) Hoisin sauce
2 tsp (10 mL) Sesame oil
2 tsp (10 mL) Rice vinegar
1 tsp (5 mL) sugar
HEAT 1 tbsp (15 mL) of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry for 8-10 minutes. Season with Chinese 5 spice, salt and pepper. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
HEAT the remaining oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and vegetables. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes or until vegetables are tender crisp. Return chicken to the pan.
WHISK together the ingredients for the sauce; pour over the chicken and vegetables. Stir to coat.
SERVE over noodles or cooked rice.
Use your choice of carrots, onion, broccoli florets, red pepper, baby bok choy, baby corn, and snow peas for the vegetables.
