Portobello mushroom and bacon sandwich


3 Strips of Maple Leaf Hearty Slice Bacon
2 Slices of Crusty Italian Bread
1 Portobello Cap
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
2 Slices of Beefsteak Tomato
5 Leaves Basil
50 g Torn Mozzarella
1 tbsp Softened Butter
Salt and Pepper


DRIZZLE oil and vinegar over the portobello caps, and season with salt and pepper

GRILL the portobellos on each side for 5-7 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the bacon, cut the tomatoes and tear up the mozzarella

LAY down some cheese, bacon and the Portobello on a slice of bread

ADD the tomato, and then the Basil. Top it off with cheese. Once done, add the top slice of bread, and butter the outer slices. If wanted, toast as you would a grilled cheese sandwich.
