This one is going to be a favourite! A pizza flavoured quesadilla! All the other goodies and you have a complete lunch.


1 Small tortilla
2 tbsp (30 mL) Pizza sauce
3 tbsp (45 mL) Grated Mozzarella cheese
5 slices Maple Leaf® Natural Selections® Pepperoni Slices
1/4 cup (60 mL) Assorted raw veggie pieces (cucumber, peppers, grape tomatoes, snap peas)
1/2 cubes Marble cheese
1 Granola bar
1/4 cup (60 mL) Mini snack crackers
1 cup (250 mL) Water or milk


HEAT a medium non-stick skillet over medium heat.

ASSEMBLE quesadilla by spreading pizza sauce over half the tortilla. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese and arrange pepperoni slices over half. Fold in half and place in the heated pan. Cook for 2 minutes per side or until golden brown and the cheese have melted. Remove from heat, cut into three triangles and wrap in foil or plastic. Place in the lunch box.

SKEWER veggies and cheese cubes onto the wooden skewer, wrap in plastic and pack in the lunch box along with the granola bar, assorted fruit cup and mini snack crackers. Add a travel cup of water or milk and lunch is ready!
