Add Pineapple to a Maple Leaf® Flakes of Turkey burger to create a delicious summer meal the whole family will enjoy!
|1||(5.5 oz/156 g can) Maple Leaf® Flakes of Turkey (drained and flaked)|
|150 ml||(2/3 cup) dry bread crumbs|
|.25 cup||(50 mL) finely chopped red onion|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) finely chopped parsley|
|2 tsp||(10 mL) dijon mustard|
|.5 tsp||(2 mL) dried basil|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) oil for frying, divided|
|4||green pepper rings|
|4||Dempster's® Hamburger Buns toasted|
COMBINE first 7 ingredients, mix well. Shape into 4 patties.
HEAT 1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil in large frying pan over medium-high heat. Lightly brown pineapple rings and pepper rings. Remove from
pan, set aside and keep warm.
ADD remaining oil and cook patties in same pan until browned on both sides.
PLACE turkey patty, green pepper and pineapple rings on hamburger buns.
