Bitesize variation on an old favorite
235 g | tube refrigerated crescent rolls |
225 g | package Maple Leaf cocktail weiners |
20 g | Maple Leaf Ready Crisp bacon, 3-4 strips or pieces |
125 ml | shredded cheese |
Finely chop bacon. Shred cheese (or use pre-shredded package)
Remove dough from tube, spread out and sprinkle cheese and bacon. Press cheese and bacon into dough. Separate into the pre-cut triangles then cut each triangle into four. Roll each weiner with cheese side in, and roll the pastry over any coating that fell out.
Arrange on a cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees F. for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
