Bitesize variation on an old favorite
|235 g||tube refrigerated crescent rolls|
|225 g||package Maple Leaf cocktail weiners|
|20 g||Maple Leaf Ready Crisp bacon, 3-4 strips or pieces|
|125 ml||shredded cheese|
Finely chop bacon. Shred cheese (or use pre-shredded package)
Remove dough from tube, spread out and sprinkle cheese and bacon. Press cheese and bacon into dough. Separate into the pre-cut triangles then cut each triangle into four. Roll each weiner with cheese side in, and roll the pastry over any coating that fell out.
Arrange on a cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees F. for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
