These garlic toast cups make the perfect and tasty vehicle with which to enjoy your picnic salad.


6 Dempster WholeGrains bread slices
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp dry basil


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray a muffin tin with no-stick spray.

On a large plate, spread olive oil and mix in garlic salt and basil. Briefly dip each piece of bread in the olive oil mixture, coating one side.

Gently press each piece into a muffin tin, forming a cup.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until bread is golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool before removing toast cups.

Fill toast cups with your favourite salad and top with your favourite dressing.
