|1 Pkg||(454 g) Package Maple Leaf Prime® Extra Lean Minced Turkey|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Pesto|
|Salt and pepper|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Grated Parmesan cheese|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Olive oil|
|4||Villagio® Crustini Buns|
|3/4 cup||(175 mL) Baby arugula or spinach|
COMBINE turkey with pesto, salt and pepper and Parmesan cheese. Mix gently to combine and shape into four patties.
PREHEAT BBQ to med high. Lightly grease your grill. Grill patties for about 8 minutes per side or until evenly char grilled and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Lightly toast the buns if desired. Place all of the ingredients for aioli in the bowl of a food processor and pulse to combine.
SPREAD the top half of each bun with aioli and place the turkey burger on the bottom half. Top with a slice of tomato, the arugula or spinach and the top of the bun.
SUN-DRIED TOMATO AOILI:
2 Cloves garlic
¼ cup (60 mL) Sun-dried tomatoes, packed in oil, chopped
1 cup (250 mL) Mayonnaise
1 tsp (5 mL) Horseradish
2 tsp (10 mL) Lemon juice
Pan fry patties over med high for 6-8 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) if you don’t have a barbeque.
