A Delicious Penne a la vodka


1 cup penne pasta
1.5 oz vodka
1/4 cup cream (heavy)
1 lb Maple Leaf bacon
1 salt and pepper
1 can tomatoes
2 cloves, garlic
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil


In a large pan over medium heat, cook garlic in olive oil until soft, 1 to 2 minutes.

Stir in tomatoes, and bacon and smash and crush with a fork and whisk. season with salt and pepper and simmer 15 minutes.
add in vodka and cook 15 minutes more.

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
Stir cream into sauce and cook 10 minutes more. Add pasta to pan and stir.
