Crunchy and delicious these chicken tenders will be a crowd pleaser!
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf Prime® chicken breast fillets|
|2 cups||(500 mL) pecans, chopped|
|1/3 cup||(75 mL) flour|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) salt|
|1/2 tsp||(2.5 mL) black pepper|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) paprika|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) dry mustard|
PREHEAT oven to 400 degrees.
IN a large bowl combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, mustard and pecans.
IN a separate bowl whisk eggs.
DIP each chicken fillet in egg and then firmly press in nut coating.
PLACE coated chicken onto a parchment lined baking tray.
LIGHTLY spray with cooking oil.
BAKE for 18 to 20 minutes or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.
Serve with fresh corn and potato salad.
