The creamy sliced-peach filling of this tasty tart recipe deliciously shows off the best of the season! This delectable dessert can be made any time of year, but tastes best with fresh peaches!
|1||Tenderflake® Frozen Pie Shell|
|2 ½ cups||(625 mL) Peaches, peeled and sliced|
|3||Egg yolks, beaten|
|¾ cup||(175 mL) Sour cream|
|¾ cup||(175 mL) Sugar|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) Flour|
PREHEAT oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare the pie shell according to the package directions. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
LOWER the oven temperature to 350°F (180°C). Arrange the peaches in the bottom of the pie shell in overlapping circles.
COMBINE egg yolks, sour cream, sugar and flour. Beat until smooth. Pour the mixture over the peaches.
PLACE the pie on a baking sheet and bake for 45-50 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool completely. Serve at room temperature with whipped cream.
