My family gets bored with sandwiches. This yummy salad is a big favourite with my family at any time of the year. Don't forget to pack a fork!
|1 Pkg||500 g. pkg pasta (rotini or other bite sized shape)|
|1 bunch||broccoli (1/4 of a head)|
|1 bunch||cauliflower (1/4 of a head of cauliflower)|
|10||cherry tomatoes--halved or quartered|
|1/4||bottle Zesty Italian salad dressing|
|1/2 Pkg||Schneiders Kielbassa Sausage, chopped into bite sized pieces|
Prepare pasta until el dente according to package directions.
While pasta is cooking, prepare veggies by washing, and chopping them into bite sized pieces
Drain pasta & rinse, set aside into a bowl to cool. In another bowl, place all veggies to marinate in the Italian
dressing for 15 minutes.
When pasta is cooled, mix veggie mixture into the pasta
Refrigerate & serve cool or package into lunch with a cold pack.
This tasty pasta dish is a favourite with kids... lots of little crunchy veggies, mixed with pasta and a simple dressing and bites of Kielbassa incorporate lots of flavour!
