This pizza dish is loaded with delicious and fresh ingredients, making it ideal to serve to a group of hungry guests!
|1 Pkg||(700 g) Ready prepared pizza dough|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) Ready prepared pizza sauce|
|1 1/2 cups||(375 mL) Grated mozzarella cheese|
|1/2 Pkg||Maple Leaf® Natural Selections® Pepperoni Slices|
|1||Green pepper, thinly sliced|
|1||Portabella mushroom, thinly sliced|
|1/4 tsp||(1 mL) Red pepper flakes (optional)|
|1/4 cup||(125 mL) Grated parmesan cheese|
PREHEAT oven to 400°F (200°C).
Lightly flour a clean work surface. Using a rolling pin, lightly dusted with flour, roll the pizza dough to a 13” (33 cm) round. Carefully transfer to a 12” (30 cm) pizza pan or a large baking tray. Roll in the edges to form a crust around the pizza and fit the pan.
SPREAD the pizza dough with pizza sauce, leaving a ½” (1 cm) edge. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese arrange pepperoni slices, green peppers, tomato and mushrooms on top. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if using, and grated parmesan cheese.
BAKE for 18-20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
