A toasted sesame bun, Caesar salad and a Grill'ems Original sausage, scored into bite size pieces, make this take on the traditional hot dog an out-of-the ballpark hit.
|2||Schneiders Grill'ems original sausage, steamed or grilled|
|2||sesame hot dog buns|
|1 cup||well packed cup of shredded or sliced romaine lettuce leaves.|
|2 tbsp||Caesar salad dressing|
|2 tsp||shredded Parmesan, Romano or Asiago cheese|
|pepper to taste|
Steam, grill or microwave the sausages until they are heated. Score the sausages into bite size pieces - partway through, diagonally, so they are easy to eat.
Toast or grill the buns.
Toss the lettuce, cheese, pepper and dressing until well mixed.
Divide the dressed salad between the two buns and place the hot, scored sausages into the middles.
