Try this Oriental Turkey Pita recipe for a quick and delicious weekday lunch!


1 (5.5 oz/156 g can) Maple Leaf® Flakes of Turkey (drained and flaked)
.5 cup (125 mL) finely sliced celery
.5 cup (125 mL) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1 large orange, peeled, sectioned and chopped
3 tbsp (45 mL) reduced fat mayonnaise
1.5 tsp (7 mL) teriyaki OR soya sauce
1 (5.12 oz/145 g) container alfalfa sproutss
2 Dempster's® /POM® pita pockets, 2 cut in half


COMBINE turkey, celery, water chestnuts, orange, mayonnaise, and teriyaki sauce in a medium bowl.

LINE bottom of each pita half with alfalfa sprouts.

DIVIDE turkey mixture evenly between pita halves.

SPRINKLE more alfalfa sprouts on top of filling. Serve immediately.
