This sweet and spicy marinade makes these chicken thighs perfect for the BBQ.
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf Prime® Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs|
|3||seedless navel oranges|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) ginger, minced|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) garlic, minced|
|3||red thai chili peppers, seeds removed|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) brown sugar|
SQUEEZE the juice of two of the oranges into a large bowl.
ADD ginger, garlic, chili, sugar and salt and pepper.
WHISK well to combine.
SLICE remaining orange into round slices.
PLACE chicken into a zip lock bag.
POUR marinade over top.
PLACE oranges slices in bag.
MASSAGE bag to ensure chicken is thoroughly coated.
CLOSE tightly and allow to marinate for 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
PREHEAT grill to medium high heat.
GRILL chicken thighs 4 to 5 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.
Grill some extra orange segments to squeeze over top when cooked!
