About this Recipe

This is a plain old fashioned hot dog, BBQ'd on a charcoal Barbecue with all the fixings. No BBQ sauce or anything added on the Maple Leaf Hot Dog, just the tasty goodness of an excellent hot dog.

Ingredients

1 Maple Leaf Original Hot Dog or TopDogs
1 Dempsters Hot Dog Bun
Mustard
Relish
Onions
Pickles

Directions

Use a Charcoal/Briquette BBQ. (has to be charcoal, gas doesn't give it the right taste)
Heat coals to desired heat and add Maple Leaf Hot Dogs, turning occasionally.
Put Bun on grill to toast lightly.
Remove hot dog when it has expanded slightly, or when it plumps.
Remove from BBQ add to bun,
Add desired toppings.

Notes

There is something about bbqing on a charcoal bbq. It brings out the flavour of the food in such a way, that it is so much better than using a gas propane bbq.
