1 egg
2 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract, the real kind
1/4 cup whole wheat flour

3.25 cup rolled oats

2. In a large bowl combine flour with baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add rolled oats. Add raisins.

3. Shape into a log about 3-inch wide and 12-inch long. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate a few hours. Slice thinly and place on parchment paper lined baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 350F oven 10 to 12 minutes or until browned. Cool on racks. Cookies should be crispy around the edges and chewy in the middle. 24 to 30 cookies.
