This quick and easy to make recipe is a perfect option for a busy family.
|4||Maple Leaf Prime® Portions Boneless Pork Chops|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Dijon or ready prepared mustard|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Mayonnaise|
|Salt and pepper|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Pretzels|
|.5 cup||(125 mL) Vegetable oil|
PLACE pork chops in a re-sealable plastic freezer bag along with mustard and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper and massage mixture into the pork chops.
PLACE pretzels in another re-sealable bag and crush into crumbs using a rolling pin or pulse in a food processor 20-30 times.
TOSS the pork chops into the pretzel crumbs. The dressing on the chops will allow pretzel crumbs to adhere.
HEAT oil in a 10” (25 cm) skillet oven medium-high heat. Fry pork chops in oil, 5-6 minutes per side or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Serve with braised red cabbage.
