True to its name this stacked bagel is piled high with capicollo and topped with caramelized onions!
|16||slices Maple Leaf® Canadian CraftTM Montreal Steak Spice Capicollo|
|2||montreal style poppy seed bagels|
|2||small onions, sliced|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL ) butter|
|4||slices swiss cheese|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL)mustard|
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Cook onions stirring frequently for 8 to 10 minutes or until onions are softened and browned.
Season onions with salt and pepper.
Remove onions from skillet. In the same pan place bagels cut side down and lightly toast.
Assemble sandwiches by layering cheese then piling 8 slices of capicollo onto bottom bagel followed by half the onions and spread half the mustard onto top bagel.
Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Serve with your favourite craft beer
