All the goodness of sloppy joes without the sloppy! These two bite appetizers are a great addition to your game day feast!

1 lbs maple leaf prime ground chicken
1 85gr package of dry sloppy joe mix
1 can diced tomato
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 small onion, diced
1 cup bread and butter pickles, sliced
1 cup prepared fried onion
1 small red pepper, diced
1 small green pepper, diced
1/3 cup Franks Red Hot Sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
12 slider buns, hollowed out

Preheat oven to 375

Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Cook ground chicken for about 6 to 7 minutes breaking apart with the back of a wooden spoon. Add peppers and onion and cook for 3 to 4 minutes longer. Add sloppy joe mix and cook stirring often for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and their juices and hot sauce. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes. Divide mixture between hollowed bun and top each with cheese. Bake for about 6 to 8 minutes until cheese is golden and bread is heated through. Top each with pickles and fried onions.
