These mini pizzas will have you thinking a new way about hot dogs!
|6||Maple Leaf Prime® Turkey Wieners, cut on the bias in thirds|
|2 cups||(500 mL) prepared butter chicken sauce|
|2 1/2 cups||(625 mL) mozzarella cheese, grated|
|1/2||small red onion, sliced|
|1 cup||(250 mL) greek yoghurt|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) cumin|
|Juice 1 lemon|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) red chili pepper, sliced|
|12||mini naan bread|
PREHEAT oven to 400 degrees.
PLACE naan on a parchment lines baking sheet.
DIVIDE butter chicken sauce and spread onto each naan.
SPRINKLE cheese over top followed by placing 3 slices of turkey dog onto each naan.
PLACE red onion over top.
BAKE in oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and base of naan is crispy and golden.
WIENERS should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
MEANWHILE in a small bowl mix together yoghurt, cumin, lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
GARNISH naan with cilantro and chili pepper.
DRIZZLE sauce over top.
Great as an appetizer!
