About this Recipe

Bite size Mini Whole Wheat Pita's hold fully cooked Maple Leaf Prime Natural Chicken. Tender morsels make this colourful, tasty lunch ready in minutes. Finish this meal with a Mini Dessert; organic waffles with cream cheese cubes and raspberries with a drizzle of honey.

Ingredients

3 whole wheat mini pita's
4-5 strips of fully cooked MLP Roasted Chicken Sliced
2-3 tbsp hummus
2-3 tbsp tzatziki sauce
3 strips of cut romaine lettuce
3 cherry tomatoes, halved
5-6 matchstick pieces of celery
4 whole wheat organic waffles
2 cubes of cream cheese
3 raspberries
1 tsp honey

Directions

Cut open the pitas.
Spread the tzatziki and hummus inside the pita.
Stuff in lettuce, chicken and tomatoes.
Place celery sticks inside a reusable container.

Waffles:
Toast waffles lightly.
Add a pat of cream cheese to 2 waffles.
Top with raspberries, and a drizzle of honey.
Place the top waffle on, squish to form a sandwich.
Add toothpicks to hold together.

Notes

These can both me made in larger quantities and are great for appetizers.
