I learned this Dish from my mother, but put my own special twist to it !
|2 cups||of rice I use Parboiled|
|2 can||Tomato Paste|
|1||chicken cubes bouillon|
|3 Pkg||Sazon Goya Seasoning|
|1 tbsp||Vegetable Oil or may need another tbsp|
|4-5 cups||of water|
First I washed the rice, until the water runs clear..
Cut up your onion, green pepper and garlic how ever you like it. I normally cut them up big !
In a pot you put your vegetable oil, your cube and your vegetables. Fry this for about 2-4 mins or until the cube has dissolved..
If there is no more oil add another tbsp and put your rice in. Mix in the 2 cans of tomato paste and the 3 packages of Sazon, Make sure you mix well :)
Now add in 4 cups of water and stir everything one last time.. KEEP an eye on your Rice you may need to add more water.. I cook on 3-4 not anything higher.
Everything should be done in 20 -30 mins !
