Maple Pear Salad with Bacon

A delicious salad especially great when pears are in season.

Ingredients

4 oz chicken breast
0.1 oz seasoning salt
2 oz baby spinach
0.5 oz sliced red onions
1 oz goat cheese
2 slices Maple Leaf bacon
2 oz poppy seed dressing
1 pear, cored and sliced
1 oz maple syrup
0.1 oz pine nuts, toasted

Directions

Poach pear slices in maple syrup. Let cool.

Season chicken breast with seasoning salt. Grill chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Cook bacon until it's crispy.

Toss baby spinach, poppy seed dressing, onions, and toasted pine nuts together in a bowl. Place tossed salad on a plate. Crumble goat cheese and crispy bacon over top.

Slice cooked chicken breast and place neatly on top of salad.

Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Double ingredient quantities for 2 salads. Tripple for 3 salads, etc.
