The maple and balsamic vinegar combine to make a sweet glaze, a bit of hot mustard adds just a hint of spice.
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) Brown sugar|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Hot mustard|
|2 tsp||(10 mL) Worchestershire sauce|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Pure maple syrup|
|1||Clove garlic, minced|
|3/4 cup||(175 mL) Balsamic vinegar|
|1||(800 g) Schneiders® Olde Fashioned Fully Cooked Smoked Ham|
WHISK together all of the ingredients for the glaze in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 18-20 minutes or until thickened. Glaze should cover the back of a wooden spoon.
COOK ham in a preheated oven according to the package directions. Brush with the glaze every 10 minutes during cooking. Serve any additional glaze on the side.
