Poutine gets an all Canadian remake with this delicious twist on this French fry dish.
|8||Slices Schneiders® Country Maple Bacon|
|1||(454g) bag of sweet potato French fries|
|3/4 cup||(175mL) goat cheese, crumbled|
|1||284ml can turkey gravy|
|1 tbsp||(15mL) thyme, chopped|
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Spread fries onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
Cook 15 to 20 minutes turning halfway through cooking.
Meanwhile heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
Cook bacon 3 to 4 minutes per side or until desired crispness. Remove onto paper towel lined plate.
Heat gravy in a small pot over medium heat. Add the thyme and stir to combine.
Roughly chop bacon.
Assemble poutine by putting fries into a bowl.
Pour gravy over top, sprinkle goat cheese and bacon over top.
Garnish with additional thyme if desired.
Drizzle with a good quality Canadian maple syrup
