Looking to eat healthy this winter? Try this feel good fresh salad made with Maple Leaf® Seasoned White Turkey Chunks
|75 ml||(1/3 cup) maynnaise|
|20 ml||(1-1/2 tbsp) orange juice|
|0.5 ml||(1/8 tsp) cinnamon|
|2||(5 oz/142 g) cans Maple Leaf® Seasoned White Turkey Chunks (drained)|
|1 cup||(250 mL) sliced celery|
|1 cup||(250 mL) halved, seedless red grapes|
|1||(8 oz/227 mL) can sliced water chestnuts, drained|
|1||(10 oz/284 mL) can mandarin orange 1 segments, drained OR 3 clementines, peeled and sectioned|
|.25 cup||(50 mL) toasted slivered almonds|
MIX mayonnaise, orange juice and cinnamon in a medium-sized bowl.
ADD turkey chunks, celery, grapes and water chestnuts and stir to combine with mayonnaise mixture.
CHILL 1-2 hours. Stir in orange segments just before serving. Garnish with almonds and serve on a bed of salad greens
