My kids love homemade Macaroni & they love Schneider's new Chicken Smoked Sausages, so why not combine the two into a tasty lunch or dinner? Tastes great hot or cold (my kids prefer it warm) but could be used as an excellent take-along on a picnic as well. A twist on an old favourite!


1 Pkg Schneiders Chicken Smoked Sausages
3 cups macaroni /elbow macaroni
1 chopped red bell pepper
1 chopped green bell pepper
1/2 can chopped water chestnuts, chopped finely
1 green onion, chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp sprinkle parmesan cheese


Prepare the pasta as per directions on the box, drain and rinse. Cut the Chicken Smoked Sausages into slices & fry in a small fry pan until browned. Mix the mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, salt & pepper together, then stir in the chopped peppers, onion, waterchestnuts & mix. Add macaroni to the mayonnaise mixture & blend well. Scoop onto plate, add the Smoked Sausage Rounds, garnish with a bit of Parmesan cheese, if desired. Tastes great & they will want to bring the rest for lunch tomorrow!
