About this Recipe

Treat yourself to a delicious egg, bacon and arugula breakfast sandwich this morning. It's sure to kick your day off to the right start!


2 tbsp (30 mL) Olive oil
1 tsp (5 mL) White wine vinegar
1 tsp (5 mL) Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper
.5 (125 mL) Frisee or arugula
3 Slices Maple Leaf® Bacon, cooked and chopped
1 Slice Dempster’s WholeGrains® Ancient Grains Bread, toasted
1 Egg, poached or fried sunny-side up


WHISK olive oil, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper. Place frisee or arugula in a small bowl with bacon and drizzle with dressing. Toss to coat. Heap the salad on the toast and top with egg. Season with salt and pepper and a drizzle of dressing.


Serve any additional salad on the side.
