Treat yourself to a delicious egg, bacon and arugula breakfast sandwich this morning. It's sure to kick your day off to the right start!
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Olive oil|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) White wine vinegar|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Dijon mustard|
|Salt and pepper|
|.5||(125 mL) Frisee or arugula|
|3||Slices Maple Leaf® Bacon, cooked and chopped|
|1||Slice Dempster’s WholeGrains® Ancient Grains Bread, toasted|
|1||Egg, poached or fried sunny-side up|
WHISK olive oil, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper. Place frisee or arugula in a small bowl with bacon and drizzle with dressing. Toss to coat. Heap the salad on the toast and top with egg. Season with salt and pepper and a drizzle of dressing.
Serve any additional salad on the side.
