Craving a savoury snack? You probably already have all the ingredients on hand for these Loaded Bruschetta Bagels.


2 Dempster’s Original Bagels
4 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated


Mix the diced tomato with the garlic, basil, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. (You can also add salt and pepper to taste, if desired.) Set aside.

Lightly toast bagels. When the bagel is toasted to light brown perfection, pile on the tomato mixture – the recipe is called “loaded” bruschetta bagels, so be generous.

Finally, finish by grating Parmesan over the top.


A wonderful way to knock out late afternoon hunger – with fresh and healthy ingredients. YUM!
