Elegant and delicate these bacon wrapped scallops will be the star while entertaining.
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf Ready Crisp Bacon|
|2 tbsp||olive oil|
|1 tbsp||lemon juice|
|1 tbsp||chives, chopped|
|1 tsp||thyme, chopped|
|1 tbsp||garlic, chopped|
Place bacon onto a microwave safe plate and heat per package directions. Heat butter and oil in a large skillet, allow butter to begin to foam. Working in batches, sear each scallop 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden brown. Remove onto plate and keep warm. In the same skillet add lemon juice, herbs and garlic. Stir for about 1 minute and remove from heat. Wrap each scallop with warm bacon and secure with toothpick. Drizzle pan sauce over each scallop. Serve immediately.
