|1||Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Turkey Breast, cut into 2” (5 cm) cubes|
|1||Lemon, zested and juiced|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Vegetable oil|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Chopped parsley|
|2||Cloves garlic, minced|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Salt|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Pepper|
|1||Red pepper, cut into 2” (5 cm) cubes|
|1||Yellow pepper, cut into 2” (5 cm) cubes|
PLACE turkey in a large re-sealable plastic bag. Mix together lemon zest and juice, oil, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper. Pour over turkey cubes in the plastic bag. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or up to overnight.
PREHEAT BBQ to medium-high. Meanwhile thread turkey and peppers on wooden skewers. Grill skewers for about 20-25 minutes, turning frequently until evenly grilled on all sides and the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165°F (74°C).
If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning.
