An easy dessert using tortillas and pie fillings.
|8||Dempters original small tortillas|
|1 tbsp||melted butter|
|1/3 cup||almond butter|
|1 cup||cherry pie filling|
|1 cup||lemon pie filling|
|1/3 cup||powdered sugar|
Brush melted butter on tortillas. Turn over and spread two teaspoonfuls of almond butter. On the almond butter side add two tablespoonfuls of pie filling to center of tortilla and spread into a small square in center. Fold tortilla.
Folding instructions. Take left and right and fold over filling, do not overlap sides of tortilla. Press down above and below pie filling, Fold top down over pie filling, fold bottom up over pie filling overlapping previous fold. You should have a rectangular envelope.
Flatten envelope a little.
Turn over and place folded side down on a baking sheet. Poke a few holes in the top with a skewer,. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 12 minutes, until corners just start to brown.
Let cool. In a plastic bag, dredge with powdered sugar.
