|1 cup||(250 mL) Mayonnaise|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Cider vinegar|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Sugar|
½ Iceberg lettuce, shredded
½ Bunch of celery, diced
1 Green pepper, diced
6 Green onions, chopped
1 cup (250 mL) Frozen peas, blanched
2 Tomatoes, diced
12 Slices Maple Leaf® Bacon, chopped and cooked crisp
4 Hard-boiled eggs, chopped
½ cup (125 mL) Grated Cheddar cheese
½ cup (125 mL) Grated Mozzarella cheese
MIX together all of the ingredients for dressing and set aside.
LAYER lettuce, celery, peppers, green onion, peas, and tomatoes in a large bowl. Pour dressing over salad and top with bacon, chopped eggs, and Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese.
Use a clear glass bowl to present the layers of vegetables most effectively.
Dressing can be served on the side in individual bowls.
